This is one of my favourite places in the whole world. Run by the wonderful Santu and Raju, Moonstar huts is a small collection of huts pretty much right on the beach, next to a sandy lane (too narrow for cars) at the north end of Patnem beach. Some have AC if you want. You can hear the sea and pretty much nothing else. A short walk to the restaurants on the beach but on the edge of the main cluster. Even got a hammock and a verandah, nonslip bathroom floor (very reassuring!) and a large comfortable bed. Thoroughly recommended.

Santu and Raju make you feel right at home from the moment you reach out to them. Genuinely kind and with such an excellent service that it feels hard to leave once that time comes. The huts are built with craftsmanship, have a local vibe yet all the amenities one may need. The location is the best on Patnem Beach. Amazing location, it’s a real treat to be able to watch the sea and sunset from your hammock. The hosts are very caring, good and considerate people. Room is comfortable and clean, drinking water is provided. Best restaurant on the beach ‘Zest’ is super close by. It a peaceful environment and seams like a place where people come back over and over again as they feel comfortable and at home. We certainly did.

Had a magical stay in my little hut on the beach. Santu was the most amazing host!! He helped me organise anything I needed, gave me some great recommendations and helped me feel welcome and taken care of - great for a woman travelling alone. The huts are simple but very comfortable and the little balcony with the hammock is pure bliss! Ended up extending my stay because I was enjoying so much. Highly recommend!!!

Two of the most amazing hosts! Ragu & Santoosh, I can’t thank them enough! I spent a month with my three children in the larger hut, which was ample room, we all were so very well taken care of. Travelling alone with my children at first felt daunting, but on arrival I instantly felt relaxed and taken care of. we had the best front row seats, of the view from my balcony, only a couple steps away from the sandy beach! Anything we needed, Ragu & Santoosh did their very best to provide. I would highly recommend moonstar huts to anyone visiting Patnem! 🙏🏻

I had the most magical holiday staying in the beautiful Moonstar huts. First week in one of the huts and second week in the tree house.  Both were incredibly special, homely and clean. I completely relaxed. Wonderful to wake up to the sound of the ocean and wonder across the quiet beach for a glorious swim. Raju and Santu were absolutely brilliant hosts making me feel so welcome and always available if anything was needed and to check that I was happy with everything. I felt very very safe. We absolutely loved our stay at Moonstar, a 2 night stay soon became 7 nights.  The huts are simple, comfortable and lots of little touches that help appreciate the thought gone into these little homes.  It's at the quiet end of the beach and we loved hanging out on our terrace and popping out for gorgeous swims.  The owners are very kind and helpful, and made our stay easy and relaxed

Simply the best, 5 classic beach huts that blend into the trees, but with all the comfort you could want, soft lights, kettles, foot showers, carpets, curtains towels, A/C and fan, hot water, bedside tables, great WiFi,  I could go on..... Each hut has a private balcony with comfy chairs and hammocks,  looking onto the beach and sea, with loungers out front. The owners live behind, so are always on hand to help. In fact Raju and Santu go the extra mile in every way to look after you. If you are lucky enough to secure a booking here, you are guaranteed a fantastic time

Moonstar huts are located in the north end of beautiful patnem beach beside the hustle but only a few steps away of it. We had such a great stay there that we booked it again already when we checked out. The lovely huts are simple, clean and beautiful. Each of them has a small terrace with a hammock and cozy chairs for relaxing and watching the sea and the beautiful sunsets. The best thing is that the huts have a glass front so that you can see the sea from out of your bed. The owners are nice and helpful, always there for you with a big smile.
